We’ll embrace the festive spirit with seasonal plants, folk traditions, delicious medicine-making, food and fireside connection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIn this workshop you will learn the folk traditions of the winter solstice with wreath crafting and create your own fire cider, a traditional winter immunity tonic.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe’ll begin with \u003cstrong\u003ewinter wreath crafting\u003c\/strong\u003e, exploring folk protection rituals and traditions of the Solstice. You’ll create your own beautiful wreath to take home with you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe’ll then move into \u003cstrong\u003ewarming medicine-making\u003c\/strong\u003e, crafting our own \u003cstrong\u003eFire Cider\u003c\/strong\u003e and exploring the traditional medicinal uses of oxymels, warming herbs and spices. We’ll also make a delicious, warming apple cider for everyone to share.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe will finish the day by gathering around the fire for \u003cstrong\u003ea nourishing seasonal stew and fireside connection\u003c\/strong\u003e, making space to slow down, share stories and celebrate the turning of the wheel together.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach gathering follows the \u003cstrong\u003ewheel of the year\u003c\/strong\u003e, bringing together seasonal insight, folk herbalism, hands-on making and community.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur intention is to cultivate a deeper relationship with the natural world and with one another through shared knowledge, seasonal practice, ritual and gathering.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou’ll leave feeling \u003cstrong\u003ewarm, nourished and connected\u003c\/strong\u003e - to the plants, the land, the season, yourself and the people around you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease let us know in advance if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThis event is part of our Folk Herbalism Series following the wheel of the year.
