Join us for an extra special Samhain evening gathering with a sound ceremony curated by Toni of Wax & Kohl. This is the 4th in our Folk Herbalism Series, honouring the turning of the wheel.
25th October 5pm till 9pm - at our Loxton Studio
As we move deeper into autumn, we gather to honour Samhain, a time of transition, remembrance and connection with our ancestors and the natural world.
This ritualistic and collaborative evening will unfold in two parts.
We’ll begin with an incense-crafting workshop, working with aromatic, magical and ancestral herbs. We’ll explore the folklore and traditions surrounding these plants, learning how they have been used for ritual, protection, remembrance and connection. You’ll create your own ritual incense to take home with you.
We’ll then settle into a beautiful seasonal sound journey, curated by Toni of Wax and Khol. Together, we’ll journey through a magical soundscape, with aromatic and ancestral plants as our guides — creating space to pause, listen and connect as we move through this threshold in the year.
We’ll close our gathering in community, sharing food and fireside connection as we honour the season and those who came before us.
Each gathering follows the wheel of the year, bringing together seasonal insight, folk herbalism, hands-on making and community.
Our intention is to cultivate a deeper relationship with the natural world and with one another through shared knowledge, seasonal practice, ritual and gathering.
You’ll leave feeling grounded, connected and nourished - to the plants, the land, the season, yourself and the people around you.

This event is part of our Folk Herbalism Series following the wheel of the year. Each gathering includes:
- Seasonal insights into the festival and its energy
- Folk herbalism — exploring the magical and medicinal properties of plants
- Foraging and connecting with wild plants
- A hands-on herbal creation to take home
- Ritual, seasonal practice and shared knowledge
- A shared meal and fireside connection to close the gathering
